"Education in this country needs to be improved. We need to fund public schools better, but I do not support closing private schools; after all, private schools play an extremely important role in our nation, and we should better fund our public schools to meet if not excel the level of performance found in private schools. We can get this money by increasing taxes on the upper class. After all, they have more money to contribute, and a slightly higher tax will not significantly impact their lifestyle but will hugely benefit the rest of the country. Another aspect of our government that needs to be improved is health care. President Obama laid down the concrete on which we should build a better, more affordable public healthcare plan. Our environment is also something that needs to be addressed. We need to pass legislation to protect the world we live in, but we also need to make sure that we don’t damage businesses too much; a balance needs to be struck between protecting our world and protecting our economy. On the idea of protection, America is not the global police and we don’t need to poke our nose in every conflict; we should only get involved in conflicts that will directly affect America like the threat of ISIS. Vote for me if you believe in an America for a new generation."
